Groundwater Monitoring

Groundwater monitoring is usually undertaken concurrently with ground gas monitoring. It is utilised to aid foundation design and groundwater risk assessment. For highly contaminated sites groundwater monitoring can be used for collecting samples should contamination be suspected. An interface probe can also be used to monitor free product (floating oil) within the groundwater should it be suspected.
